Coalition staff can assist in the development of culturally based prevention and intervention practices/models that are tailored to communities. |

May respond to core services/crisis response needs in a variety of ways specific to their own community. |
| We participate in local, state, and national coalitions,
task forces, committees to end violence against native
women and carry member voices forward. |

May participate in committees and task forces, as
resources allow. |
| We identify partnerships, allies and opportunities
for pursuing new streams of funding and support for
member programs. We can apply for certain grants that
may fill in the gaps for tribal needs. |

Tribes may have access to knowledgeable planners and
grant writers on issues related to domestic violence
and sexual assault, stalking, sex offender registration,
offender treatment, and victim resources. |
| We consult and act as a clearinghouse for statewide
and national information of interest to the Native community.

Tribal services may be limited in scope due to existing

| We expand capacity to communicate on a statewide basis
by offering video conferencing of training and meetings. |

May participate (as part of a larger group/network)
which moves priorities from local to statewide to national
